Finnish architect Pekka Vapaavuori’s winning design was selected from 233 projects submitted by architects in 10 different countries. His winning design relied heavily on natural materials with local traditions.

Our Gotland Grey and Åland Grey-Beige were used as exterior and interior façade stone with both sawn and honed finishes and Baltic Grey Limestone was used for the internal flooring with honed surface finish.
