Baltic Grey Limestone and Åland Grey-Beige Limestone are the most suitable of our stones to use as façade tiles due to their high frost resistance and also their appearance. BALTIC GREY LIMESTONE, SAWN

Sawn finish is used when using Baltic Grey Limestone for external facades. This finish gives the stone the same blue-grey appearance as the brushed finish and is more rough to the touch. From close up the fine saw marks are visible on the stone.

ÅLAND GREY-BEIGE LIMESTONE

Åland Grey-Beige Limestone is mostly used as a facade tile due to its high frost resistance. As its name suggests, the stone has a mixture of grey and beige colour tones. These colours blend very well together when Åland Grey-Beige Limestone is used for exterior building facades.

GOTLAND GREY LIMESTONE

The Gotland Grey limestone rock bed begins near the island of Gotland and is quarried on the island of Saaremaa. As it’s name implies the stone is grey in colour with some lighter grey tones visible. Due to its high frost resistance, this stone is widely used for exterior wall cladding and building stone.

ISTRIAN BEIGE LIMESTONE

This classic architectural building stone from the heart of the Istrian peninsula in Croatia has been used in the eastern Mediterranean area for centuries to make floor tiles. Istrian Beige was also used to make classical Venetian villas which are still admired all along the Croatian coast down to Montenegro.

These dense limestone tiles are very suitable for busy family homes which require durability without compromising on style. The warm light beige colour tones of these tiles will work well to lift the gloom of the winter. We offer honed and brushed surface finishes in many different sizes.
