FACADES

FACADES

Baltic Grey and Åland Grey-Beige are the most suitable stone to use as façade tiles due to their high frost resistance and also their appearance. Façade fixing systems vary according to the building construction and so we suggest you refer to our technical file to see which fixing system best suits your project.

BALTIC GREY LIMESTONE, SAWN

Sawn finish is used when using Baltic Grey limestone for external facades.
This finish gives the stone the same blue-grey appearance as
the brushed finish and is more rough to the touch.
From close up the fine saw marks are visible on the stone.

ÅLAND GREY-BEIGE

Åland Grey-Beige is widely used as a facade tile due to its good frost resistance.
As its name suggests, the stone has a mixture of grey and beige colour tones.
These colours blend very well together when the stone is used for exterior building facades.

GOTLAND GREY LIMESTONE

The Gotland Grey limestone rock bed begins near the island of Gotland and is quarried on the island of Saaremaa.
As it’s name imples the stone is grey in colour with some lighter tones visible.
Due to its high frost resistance, this stone is widely used for exterior wall cladding and building stone.
