Ekland Stone is a family owned company which specializes in supplying
limestone for use as tiles, façade panels and building stone in projects around the world. Our limestone
is frequently used in the construction of hotels, office buildings, shopping centers and private homes in
the Nordic capitals of Stockholm, Oslo, Helsinki and Copenhagen. We also supply our limestone to private
residences and commercial projects in London, the Middle East and China and with each passing year we
continue to strengthen our presence in these markets. We take great pride in the long term relationships
we have forged with architects and interior designers and our mission is to offer a quality of limestone
and a client service that is world class.
Quarrying our stone and preparing it for commercial use requires a blend of technology and traditional craftmanship. To ensure the quality of the finished product, considerable investment has been made in some of the most advanced cutting technology. The CNC machines interpret design data and cuts the limestone automatically resulting in better efficiency, greater productivity and less waste. We work closely with architects and interior designers to ensure that their stone designs and detailing are produced to the highest quality standards.
We take our responsibility of preserving the environment around the quarries very seriously. There is a sustainability and renewal plan which ensures our quarries are returned to green habitat after use. We strive to have a minimal impact on our beautiful landscape.
